澳门老人味 participates in the District of Columbia鈥檚 National School Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack Program. The program follows USDA meal pattern requirements, rules, and regulations. This school year, we provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all students at no cost.

Summer 2023 Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Benefits
罢丑别听District听issued summer听P-EBT听benefits to eligible families on the last day of听July,听2023. Eligible children will receive the federally approved flat rate of $120 per child.听听
District of Columbia (DC) children are eligible for Summer 2023听P-EBT听benefits under the following circumstances:听
1.听听听听听听听A student was enrolled, during the month of June 2023, in a school that participated in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) in the 2022-23 school year AND:听
- the school participated in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP);听
- The family applied for Free and Reduced Priced Meals (FARM) before June 30,2023听was determined eligible by the School Food Authority (SFA), and eligibility was updated in the Student Information System (SIS) by June 30,2023;听
- Directly certified for FARM (which includes students receiving SNAP and TANF).听
School Year 2021-22听P-EBT听Benefits听for children under the age of 6听
Children who were under the age of 6 on Sept. 30,听2023听and were part of a household participating in SNAP will receive a monthly benefit of $50.36 per month they were enrolled in SNAP between September 2022 and May 11, 2023, when the Public Health Emergency ended. This amounts to $478.42 if the child was eligible for the maximum time possible.听听
Because DC offers Pre-K to children as young as three, there are some children who will receive both a school year and summer benefit. This will only happen for children under 6, who were part of a household participating in SNAP during September 2022 鈥� May 11,听2023听AND the child was also enrolled in a qualifying school and met eligibility criteria during the month of June 2023.听听
